nprmommy's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Potty Fun We're back from 12 days away. We spent most of the time visiting family....so I need a vacation. I probably could write for three days about things we did, but I'm bored even thinking about that, so I'll spare everyone. Zoe turned 6 while we were away. I tried my hardest to prevent it, but as Zoe says "God makes birthdays, Mommy, not you." She has been cracking us up lately. She's a real comedian, and her favorite thing is making us laugh. Yesterday, we were at a new restaurant in town. We can't get through a meal at a restaurant without Zoe having to go to the bathroom, and this time was no different. This restaurant actually has a Family Restroom--complete with a child size potty and a regular size potty side-by-side. Zoe was thrilled! She declared it the "best bathroom EVER!!!!" I could only lure her back to the table by promising that she could show Max the bathroom. She sprinted back to the table yelling "Max, you have to check out this bathroom!" She lead him back to the bathroom where she paused very dramatically by the door and announced "Max, prepare to be amazed." Then she opened the door slowly while making a very high-pitched, sing-songy "AHHHHHHHH!" Max was not as impressed with the family restroom as Zoe. How could he be after the buildup? We spent a ton of money taking the child on vacation, when we could have just visited the Family Restroom at our local restaurant. While I was away, my latest DotMoms contribution was posted.
